Alt-rock duo, known as Little Hurricane, are gearing up for the release of their third full-length studio album, Same Sun Same Moon which will be shared with the world on the 14th of April via Mascot Records.

Frontman, Anthony ‘Tone’ Catalano and drummer, Celeste ‘CC’ Spina met in San Diego when CC placed a musicians-wanted ad on Craigslist; Tone was one of the many respondents, sharing an interest in blues music and unusual/vintage gear. The two shared similar experiences, such as playing in jazz bands during their high school years—it was clearly a musical match that needed to be pursued.

A couple of music awards, tours and a wedding—later, Little Hurricane have a new message to share with the world: we may not all share the same beliefs, but people are still more alike than different. No matter if you’re in San Diego or South Africa, living 10,000 years ago or today, we all look up to see the same sun and same moon. We are all connected in one way or another. This is at the centre of the latest release, Same Sun Same Moon.

These 12 new songs are consistent with the honesty and immediacy of Little Hurricane’s earlier work, yet they also incorporate new timbres and a broader emotional scope—changes that underscore the band’s desire to transcend its dirty blues roots and connect with a wider range of music lovers.
