Tonight kicked off the Lunar New Year celebrations at The Summer Night Market in Melbourne. Visitors were treated to a full program of traditional Chinese entertainment and food, and the festivities will carry on every Wednesday until the 8th of March.
Night Market-goers will be entertained with performances from local and international acts, including Chinese dragon dancers and drummers from the Hong De Lion Dance Association on the Queen Street main stage.
Marvel in the beauty of lit-up mythical creatures scattered throughout the Market; guiding visitors for a prosperous New Year.
