Adelaide music lovers are excited about Vision Festival’s return to Adelaide this July; however, just weeks before the festival kicks off, Newcastle band, Maids have withdrawn from Vision Festival citing reasons outside their control. Though the festival organisers were looking forward to Maids’ appearance at Vision Festival they have moved forward and are proud to announce Adelaide’s Siamese have been added to the lineup.

Evoking the grunge rock nostalgia from pinnacle ’90s bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, Siamese have been gathering steam as a band to watch and will surely pull your heartstrings with their disparate vocals and nonchalant, distorted walls of sound. With singer-guitarist, Tom Matheson, also the mastermind behind Swirl Records, Vision Festival’s organisers say Siamese are a more than worthy replacement act.

Vision Festival will be held on Saturday, 16 July, with doors from 6.30pm until late.

Tickets are $10 (plus booking fee) and can be found at Moshtix.
