Prayers on Fire! management and VAF Research are proud to announce the return of Vision Festival in Adelaide, this July, for Music SA’s inaugural Umbrella Winter City Sounds program. Vision Festival will feature hometown heroes Horror My Friend, Perth’s The Love Junkies, Newcastle’s Maids, Cobra and emerging Music SA act Pemberton.
Founded and curated by music writer and impersonario Jonty Czuchwicki, Vision Festival aims to provide a spotlight to the best emerging rock acts in the country at Jive nightclub, the home of live music in the city. Last year’s festival featured diverse acts such as The Dunes, West Thebarton Brothel Party, Glass Skies and Sparkspitter.
Headlining the festival will be Adelaide heavyweights Horror My Friend. Having recently released their debut album Stay In, Do Nothing, Horror My Friend are set to play a frenetic brand of indie rock off the back of their recent single ‘PB Remains’.
They are joined by popular interstate acts The Love Junkies and Maids, both a relenting onslaught of heavy fuzz guitar riffs spun with infectious melodies, grunge anthems and unique vocal chops.
Opening the night will be local merchants of chaos Cobra and Music SA emerging student act Pemberton.
Vision Festival will be held on Saturday, 16 July, with doors from 6.30pm until late.
Tickets are $10 (plus booking fee) and can be found at Moshtix.
